Point Lonsdale II a sustainable home in a coastal town on the Bellarine Peninsula. The owners ambition was to maximise energy performance and reduce maintenance. The outcome was a modern mid-century home were large openings are aligned to create visual connection through the house and across the courtyard, increasing the sense of space and connection to garden areas from all the interiors.
Concrete block work walls wrap the architecture from cold coast winds . Timber windows and cladding as lighter infill to the architecture open to the sun and connect to the garden courtyard.
