Geelong West Community Hub onto next steps

We are thrilled that the Geelong West Community Hub is moving on o next steps in the development of the architectural upgrade of their building in West Geelong. We worked collaboratively with the City of Greater Geelong, Wadawurrung representative and Geelong West Community House to develop a concept design and complete associated cost saving analysis for funding purposes. Our proposal provides for new entries, upgraded meeting rooms and improved staff area and amenities to improve access and comfort to welcome existing new members alike

New rear entry provide universal access for all, with stairs and outdoor deck opening to park . this will allow more programs for the users as well as better connection to the local community and landscape

Stonehouse + Irons Architecture Earns ArchiTeam Medal and Commercial, Community & Public Award for Queenscliff Recreation Reserve Amenities

We are thrilled to announce that Stonehouse + Irons Architecture, has achieved the prestigious ArchiTeam Medal at the 2023 ArchiTeam Awards. In addition, we proudly secured the Public, Community, and Commercial Award for our exceptional work on the Queenscliff Recreation Reserve Amenities project, Bellarine.

Proudly Carbon Neutral Certified

Stonehouse + Irons Architecture commitment to the environment has always been at our core and we are proud to announce that we are officially a Carbon Neutral small business.

We commissioned Pangolin Associates Pty Ltd (Pangolin Associates) to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for the financial year (FY) 2021. The total emissions for FY2021 were 12tCO2e (carbon dioxide equivalent).
