Richmond I is an architect designed inner-city residence that draws on warehouse living. This was an alterations and additions to existing 1920’s bungalow house which was about maximising as much space as possible on a small inner-city block.  The urban home comprises of three bedrooms, studio and a generous lower living area for an active family of four.  An interior focussed project, recycled brick and exposed steel were used to evoke the industrial qualities of inner working Richmond, resulting in a highly textured finish of exposed brick, steel, concrete, stone and timber.

Perforated screens provide dapped shade to interior while obscuring any overlooking to neighbours.  Warm timbers veneers and sheer curtains soften the interior
